Guide suitable for: Level 70-80+ players who want to level up faster in WotLK and learn some new stuff about the expansion

Killer Guides’ WotLK guide will give you an overview of WoW’s 2nd expansion, and 2 detailed quest-based leveling guides for 60-80 (separate horde / alliance).

The main guide serves as an introduction to many of the changes and additions that WotLK brought. For example: changes to game mechanics, the new battleground, the Death Knight, changes to professions, and so on.

The best parts, in my opinion, were the 5 man instance boss strategies, and the overview and comments on every class’ new spells and abilities.

Much of this you will learn as you go, but it’s a nice reference guide and it’s helpful to have read it at least once, so you kind of know what’s going on in the game, with other professions, classes and such. If you just explore on your own you won’t get the full picture (unless you do everything in-game).

So I do think the main guide is a useful overview of the expansion.

The other parts are the leveling guides, one for alliance and one for horde. They both include Death Knight leveling guides as well. They are around 160 pages each, so there’s much more details here than in the main guide.

The leveling guides are text based, and list what quests to pick up, where to do them (with coordinates if required), and hints on how to do them. These are the best quality 60-80 leveling guides I know of at this low price. Of course, a pure leveling guide will be faster and easier, but much more expensive.

If I had to complain…

The main guide is mainly useful to read through once or twice.

Conclusion

The quest-based 60-80 leveling guides are what makes this guide worth buying. It’s very hard to put a rating on this guide. If you’re already well informed on WotLK and find it easy to level, this guide may not be for you. On the other hand, this will be a good guide if you need to get updated fast on all the changes in WotLK, and want some hand holding on level 60-80.
