Killer Guides currently offer all their 20 World Of Warcraft guides in one
package, including extensive guides for every class, as well as ebooks on topics such as raiding, guild
management and strategy, and the recent addition of a surprisingly good alliance leveling guide.
I have reviewed many of the guides on this site. Below, I have linked the reviews and reprinted their rating, so
you can see at a glance how they hold up:
The best part is the class guides, in my opinion. The gold guide, while
only rated 7/10 here, might deserve a higher rating. It’s just that other gold guides are even better, but this one
delivers many solid tips too. The same goes for the alliance and horde leveling guides. They are rated 6/10 because
there are even better leveling guides, but these are certainly not bad as far as printable PDF guides
go.
The price can’t be beat considering that you’re getting a ton of great information, ALL future updates as well
as coming guides. For example, they will keep making guides for new expansions.
If you’re into WoW for the long term, or want to explore many aspects of the game, this is
for you.
I think the only really weak link is the PvP guide. While some of their other guides aren’t
that spectacular, like their WotLK and Burning Crusade guide, that doesn’t detract much because they don’t cover a
core aspect of WoW. The PvP guide being weak is worse, though. However, each class guide does have its own PvP tips
for its particular class, so it’s still covered.
They did have a problem keeping their guides updated when the Burning Crusade came out. But
lately, they have been much more responsive with updates after new patches and expansions.
