The Hunter Guide released by Killer Guides is a 196 page ebook (PDF format) about mastering the hunter in WoW.

The first edition came out years ago and was kept up to date with many updates. Sadly, this is no longer the case since Cataclysm was released. Much of the information in the guide is now hopelessly outdated.

While the guide did receive some updates for patch 4.0, there is nothing about 80-85 in the guide.

The best part of this hunter guide is the chapter on hunter talents and pet talents, which is largely correct.

However, the rest of the guide is another story. The races that can play the hunter are not updated, PvP strategies vs. Death Knights are missing, leveling advice for 1-85 is missing or outdated, equipment and money making advice is outdated or missing for higher levels, links to addons do not work anymore etc.

In short, I cannot in good conscience recommend this guide right now. It is not updated for the current state of the game.

Free updates are included in the price, though, and as soon as this guide is updated it may well become a great resource for mastering the Hunter in WoW.
