The Cash Creating Guide is the original WoW gold guide. With more than 3 years running, it is now better than ever.

The guide starts out strong and just keeps pounding away with one hard-hitting gold making technique after another. For example:

• Farming spots in Azeroth, Outlands and Northrend 
• Farming areas accessible only by flying mount 
• Profiting from reputation items
• Making money from fishing and cooking

Regardless if you’re lower level or level 80, anywhere in the World of Warcraft, there are very profitable techniques for you. Luke thoroughly covers the important gold-making avenues you can use, including:

• Gathering (using herbalism, mining, skinning and fishing primarily to gather and sell mats to other players)
• Auction House trading (This can be very easy gold if you know the secrets)
• Loads of farming spots for different items and for all levels (it’s great to not be dependant on one single spot that may be nerfed / camped / competed for) (There is a special "profit chart" that shows a handful of locations to grind for every level range. Very cool.)
• Crafting 
• Instance runs
• Profiting from special events (some seasonal events can earn you piles of gold with almost no effort because the items can only be obtained once a year so they’re very rare)
• Mods that can boost your earnings 
• Twink items (a very hot market to cash in on right now)
• Daily quests. (including how to do the pre-requisite quests to open up some daily quests). Updated with all or most of the new WotLK quests (50 pages of walkthroughs). Good stuff!
• Much more.

It isn’t just old, recycled advice, but some very original ideas for lucrative profits.

Out of the bonuses, my favorite is the 40 page fishing guide (updated for patch 3.1) which describes exactly how to go from 1 to 450 fishing for Horde or Alliance separately. Even if you don’t know how to cast a line yet, this guide will teach you EVERYTHING you need to know. More than a few pages are also devoted to making money with fishing. An earlier version of this very fishing guide was what once inspired me to take up fishing to begin with, and I’ve never regretted it.

If I had to complain…

More things could’ve been linked to database sites like wowhead.com. The grinding spot chart is not updated for 70-80, although there are tons of grinding spots for those levels in the main guide. It’s just the handy reference chart that hasn’t been updated. The gold message board has been "coming soon" for like 2 years!

Conclusion

This guide is clear and easy to use, even if you’re new to WoW.
