I decided to roll a new character today; an alliance female night elf.

The reason is that I’ve been thinking, like many others, about The Burning Crusade and how it affects game play now. I mean, is there really any point in getting the latest and greatest gear, highest PvP rank, or even getting exalted with some more factions? Of course, if you enjoy doing those things more than anything else, keep doing them because wow is about having fun.

But if you feel that the time you put into those activities will be "wasted" when the expansion comes, you might want to level a new character so you "only" have to level it to 70 later. That gives you more options once BC comes out.

Personally, I like leveling all by itself, so I’m not as cold and calculating about "preparing for BC" as you might think.

Anyway.

I’ve never played a night elf or a hunter before, so it’s all new to me. (more…)
